Brisbane /Jimboomba Relocations is family owned and run by Callie & Gary Wall. As migrants with young children ourselves we understand the hardwork and stress involved in making such a big move. We have the experience of being in a new country, not knowing which way to turn, the endless driving around finding shops, stores, property, cars and estate agents, and all whilst trying to keep the children happy!

We decided a move was on the cards back in September 2005. We enrolled the help of a competent agent to help with the paperwork and were granted a Skilled permant residency visa on Gary's trade of Diesel Mechanic in April 2006!

In March 2006 we were approached by the BBC to film the pilot episode of the famous TV show 'Wanted Down Under'. This was our first real taste of Aussie life, both good and bad. In 2009 we filmed Wanted Down Revisited to show what we had done since our arrival in Queensland and some of the challenges we had faced.

We arrived in Brisbane permanently on the 4th November 2006, carrying 8 suitcases containing our worldly possessions! Having only 18 boxes en-route via ship we really did start from scratch. With 2 children in tow, not knowing where to go or what to do, did test us as a family. We secured a rental house shortly after our arrival and settled the children into Australian education. We purchased our first Australian home the following February and have gone on to renovate it to our liking. We can hopefully share a few tips and hints about our incredeible journey and the success we have made of our new lives in a new country. Hopefully we can relieve any concerns you may have and make your move a little less stressful than ours was!
